The project ‘CIGTEY. Civic and Gov Technologies for Engagement, Participation and Inclusion of Youth with Fewer Opportunities’ has been launched with the support of the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, which aims to promote inclusion and active participation in civic and governmental processes among young persons with disabilities in Poland, Ireland, Ukraine and Turkey by teaching them digital skills in civic and governmental technologies and supporting youth workers in their efforts by helping youth to participate fully in society and empower them. Since the launch of the project, an e-book ‘Technologies for Youth: The Inspiring Potential of Civic and Government Technology for Engagement, Participation and Inclusion’ was developed with elements of scribing, which contains examples of the use of civic and government technology in each of the partner countries, links to platforms and practical advice for young workers. Further, the project includes the translation into Ukrainian and adaptation of the textbook for the target group, as well as the development and implementation of a comprehensive online learning, teaching and training programme that will enable youth workers to promote the use of civic and governmental technologies by young persons with disabilities, promoting inclusion and active citizenship in Poland, Ireland, Ukraine and Turkey. The progress and results of the project will be covered on the social media pages of each of the partner organisations, including the website and social media of the NGO Parostok.
